Really sturdy and well made but get two thread adapters!
BeezerB 12.07.2021
Got this for my Geffel UMT70s. But great for my DPA 4015 too. Really sturdy and well made. BUT! You'll need two thread adapters as the hole is machined very deep and one thread adapter will be recessed too out of range of the male part of your mic stand and you wont get enough turns on the mic stand for it to be safely attached. I had it fall off a stand once when just using one adapter.

Not for boom poles
Anonymous 27.03.2017
I bought this to hold an AT4053b for indoor boom work and I am disappointed by how much handling noise it transmits to the mic. I found that I had to use a high-pass filter at 160Hz to get rid of handling noise from the pole, which is unacceptable for voice. I am now using my outdoor shockmount (Rode Blimp) and that is much better.
This mount is fine for studio work, but be warned if you're a boom op.

Degelijke ophanging
Anonymous 29.03.2017
